Old Orchard Beach is a
great place to live.

That message is reinforced in the great school systems that boast small class sizes and individual education plans.

If you are a "townie" you know what it is like to go to bed listening to the Atlantic Ocean rumbling in the distance.  No matter where your home is at the Beach you are seconds away from the Beach.

The entrance to Maine has a sign that states, "Maine, the way life should be" and a life in Old Orchard Beach emulates that fact.  Just fifteen minutes from Portland 1.4 hours from Boston, Amtrak Service  to take you anywhere you would like to go, Old Orchard Beach is at the center of the world.

Old Orchard Beach is a beautiful community in Southern Maine featuring a landscape lavish with sand dunes, bustling with business, and rich with folks who exemplify a friendly atmosphere no matter who you are.

Old Orchard Beach
is a great place to work.

Old Orchard Beach exemplifies the quality of life that makes Maine famous. Its roots reach back 1883 when the pioneers, strong in spirit and determined to develop a good life, saw just what was offered here on the southern coastline of Maine.

The people who work at the Beach have kept that spirit and determination along with the tradition of family values and a work ethic that has become a standard of what it is to be from Maine.  They share a special pride in their community and want to share that with everyone.

Owning a business at the Beach is something that is not for the faint at heart.  It is a place where you need to work hard to make a difference but the rewards are endless.  Tourism is the industry of Old Orchard Beach.   The community is rich business owners who employ local people and are focused on making significant strides in what Old Orchard Beach has to offer.

Old Orchard Beach is "open for business."

Old Orchard Beach
is a great place to play.

Over the past few years Old Orchard Beach has been transformed into a place that not only is known for fun in the sun but more importantly a great place to live.   The transformation of the Ballpark, and the events driven by the efforts of OOB365 continue to bring Old Orchard Beach to new heights.

Positive energy has taken hold...

Old Orchard Beach has transformed and provided a balance between "a family friendly" atmosphere with many local eateries alongside nightlife venues that offer great entertainment.   The traditional fun times at the Beach are still here with different activities at Palace Playland and on the Pier.

Look to OOB365 as we are on the move and have adopted the tag line, "It's Happening in Old Orchard Beach!"

Where to Eat in Old Orchard Beach Where to Stay in Old Orchard Beach

The OOB365 citizen and business group put a 2nd Edition of our magazine together to show off just how great a place Old Orchard Beach is to live, work and play.  Since its founding in March of 2009, our membership has grown from 25 people to over 200.  The significance and work of OOB365er’s comes to light all over Old Orchard Beach with our many fun family festivals, free community dinners and popular progressive dinners.  It is not a difficult job promoting the town, as Old Orchard Beach is the best seaside community to live in!   In this publication, you will find listings for great restaurants, motels and businesses.  Seriously, you must check it out!

BREAKING NEWS  Historical Trolley Tours in Old Orchard Beach!!

Always looking to show off our great community, OOB365 sponsored the new guided trolley tour that you will see this summer.  Our community is evolving and new people are choosing to live here.  The trolley tour will give a history of OOB, and tour-takers will be able to answer such questions as who landed a plane on our beach? and what is the oldest Inn in town?

OOB365 is ever present on the internet too.  The OOB365 facebook page has over 1240 people who have “liked” us (as of this publication).  Facebook is our main medium to keep you up to date on events happening in Old Orchard Beach;  also we often post candids and updates from each event.  The promotion of our community comes from all different viewpoints a well, and this diversity keeps our content fresh and exciting.
